Q. Who is eligible for free screenings at the Cancer Center?
A. Screenings are open to anyone. We would, however, encourage those with insurance or other means of paying for their screening to seek care from their primary physician to afford under or uninsured individuals the opportunity to participate in the screening.

Q. On the day of my screening, should I take my medications?
A. Yes, never change your medication regime for a screening unless specifically directed by a staff member. Screenings are non-invasive and should not affect your medications in any way.

Q. On the day of my screening should I eat as usual?
A. Yes, you should not need to change your eating routine for a screening unless specifically directed by a staff member.

Q. What happens if you find something in the screening?
A. We will send you all results. Should there be an issue that indicates follow-up our staff will attempt to reach you directly. Through our Patient Navigation Program, we follow your care throughout your journey.

Q. How do I register for a screening?
A. To register, click on the screening noted on the Calendar of Events. There you will find a registration page where you can securely provide details needed to register you for an event.  A follow-up email will be sent to you confirming your registration. Should you have questions, please call (509) 737-3420.
