The Cancer Center reaches beyond its own walls into the community through participation in community events and speaking engagements, providing information about prevention, detection, and treatment. The Community Educator is available to provide presentations in the community on a variety of cancer topics. Want some quick tips? Come to this 90 minute class to learn:
- Why you use tobacco/Reasons to quit
- Identify your triggers and how to beat them
- How to use nicotine replacement products effectively
- How to establish positive support/Tips on dealing with cravings
First time class participants will have the choice of nicotine replacement patches or nicotine gum (while supplies last).
Quit Tobacco Classes are held on a monthly basis and are offered FREE of charge thanks to generous community support of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation.
