Presentation: Women’s Health and Genetics: What every woman should know

Wednesday, October 28, 2015
5:00 am
- 6:00 am

Free

When it comes to women’s health, genetics matter. In this talk, Rachel Gorham, WHNP, will talk to you about what your mother didn’t tell you and your grandmother probably didn’t know. Family medical history makes an enormous difference in assessing a woman’s and man’s risk for breast cancer. Gorham, who is one of the nation’s leading educators and testers for the BRACA genes, an indicator for breast and ovarian cancer, breaks it all down in this informative talk – complete with the statistics, testing guidelines, and more. Please RSVP by October 23rd. Lunch is provided with RSVP.
