At the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, we understand that a cancer diagnosis is difficult enough without the added stress of leaving the community for treatment. This is why we have worked diligently to bring state-of-the-art treatment technology, skilled oncology professionals, and an array of support groups and integrative oncology services allowing you to stay close to home.
Our support groups include:
Breast Cancer Support Group
1st & 3rd Friday of each month. 9:00-11:00 a.m.
A group for women of any age who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Led by a certified breast navigator, join at any time throughout your cancer journey.
Cancer Support Group
1st & 3rd Thursday of each month. 10:00-11:30 a.m.
A support group for anyone touched by cancer; patients, caregivers, family or friends. This gathering offers advice and support for those facing issues brought on by a cancer diagnosis or treatment.
6 week sessions.
Call (509) 737-3400 for next start date. An educational and supportive program for children ages 7-14 who have a significant adult in their life who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Laryngectomee Support Group
1st Monday of Feb-June and Sept-Dec. 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Support for laryngectomees, head & neck cancer patients and their families. Concerns such as speech, swallowing and taste are addressed by a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Lymphoma, Leukemia & Multiple Myeloma Support Group
4th Thursday of each month. 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Supportive conversation and sharing for anyone touched by a diagnosis of lymphoma, leukemia or multiple myeloma. This group is led by persons experienced with the diseases.
Ovarian Cancer Support Group
1st Wednesday of each month. 1:00-2:00 p.m. Ovarian cancer patients and survivors meet to talk, make connections and share experiences.
Prostate Cancer Support Group
4th Thursday of each month. 5:30-7:00 p.m.
A group for men facing prostate cancer who want to gain insight from others about their treatment decisions, experiences and regaining a healthy lifestyle after treatment.
2nd Wednesday of each month. 5:30-7:00 p.m.
A group for active women balancing job, family and a busy life along with cancer treatments and recovery. The location varies due to planned activities or special interests of the group.

Offered in conjunction with the Tri-Cities Court Club, this free 10-week program is designed to help the cancer survivor recuperate from treatment with the help of an expert trainer. Inquire at the Resource Center.

Ask a Pharmacist
Oncology pharmacists available to review a cancer patient’s medication, vitamin and supplement regimen with consideration for the cancer therapies they are undergoing. By appointment only, call (509) 737-3450.
Ask a Dietician
2nd Tuesday of every month, 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Tips, tricks and advice from a registered dietician on how to maintain good nutrition during cancer treatment and recovery.
4th Thursday of every month, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Led by members of Insight Meditation of Mid-Columbia, this is a medically recommended stress reducer open to patients, caregivers and family member.
2nd Tuesday of every month, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
A gentle introductory yoga that can relieve side effects of cancer treatment and reduce stress or tension.
4th Thursday of every month, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
This monthly meeting is an opportunity for patients and others to relax and forget about the medical world. Each month features a complete project of varying types with the help of an art coach ($5.00 fee).
