Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation

Please note: We will be holding a Volunteer Training Session Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00pm. here at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center in the Volunteer Conference Center.

Those interested in volunteering opportunities please fill out our Volunteer Application Form found here on our website or stop by the Foundation Office to pick up an application. For more information please call Babe Nyberg, Volunteer Relations Coordinator, at 737.3434 ext. 434.

At the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, our volunteers are an integral part of the services we provide. From welcoming patients to the building to serving in the Resource Center, Ralph R. Peterson Library or other areas of the Center, visitors and staff alike appreciate their friendly faces.

Each year volunteers at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center provide nearly 5000 hours of service. There are a number of different volunteer opportunities including:

  • Patient Greeter
  • Resource Center Attendant
  • Ralph R. Peterson Resource Library Aid
  • Office Assistant
  • Special Events
  • The Guild
  • The Men’s Club

While there are a number of opportunities to volunteer, those interested need to contact the Center’s Volunteer Relations Coordinator to see what opportunities are currently available. All volunteers go through an interview with the Center’s Volunteer Relations Coordinator that includes a background check. Upon acceptance, volunteers receive general training and orientation to the Center.

The Guild and the Men’s Club are a community of volunteers joining together in support of the mission, goals and objectives of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. These groups give of their time and resources in a variety of ways to support the Cancer Center. Click below to learn more:
